Redhawks Junior Basketball is a youth travel basketball program available to students who attend Marshall Public School, Mar Lee or Marshall Academy. We currently have 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade teams. We partner with Positive Coaching Alliance and Marshall Rec to provide an educational-athletic program that provides a high quality experience focused on: #1 Athletes having fun playing the game #2 Athletes feel they are an important part of the team. #3 Athletes learning life lessons that have value beyond the court. #4 Athletes developing their basketball skills. Redhawk Jr Basketball evaluations are held in October. Teams are developed based on skill level. We partner with Marshall Recreation Department's Jr Hoopsters Program for those athletes whom are not yet ready for travel basketball. Practices start in November. We participate in the Red Cedar League. Teams are guaranteed 8 games which are played Sat and/or Sunday from December through mid February. There is an end of season tournament in February. Total cost of our program per $175 per player. Some scholarships are available for families in need. Click on the links below to find out more info.
